Cubs Day Care: Ages 13 Months - 3 Years
Cubs Daycare
Ages 13 months to 3 years.
Cubs Daycare is a licensed childcare facility for ages 13 months to 3 years. We are dedicated to providing a warm, safe and fun environment that is developmentally appropriate. Our facility is located in a cozy ski chalet located at Spruce Peak. Three year olds can opt for a two hour semi-private ski lesson during the day (Please see the 3 year old page for details).
A Day in the Life: Each day your child will have the opportunity to explore and play with a variety of stimulating toys and materials. Books, puzzles, building toys, imaginative play as well as arts and crafts are readily available. Songs and story time are also a regular part of the daily program. Your child will have the opportunity to explore child initiated activities as well as participate in teacher directed activities. On nice days, the older children bundle up and go outside to build a snowman!
Remember that children find transition difficult, especially in a new environment. Please allow time to get your little one settled into Cubs. We encourage you to bring an item that will help your child with the transition (a teddy or cuddly item). The staff at Cubs is experienced, patient, and understanding about separation anxiety. Everything possible will be done to help your child feel comfortable. Parents are always welcome at Cubs, but please keep in mind sometimes visits can disrupt a child just when they have settled in. We recommend a phone call.
