CLIFF HOUSE RESTAURANT

Distinctively situated atop on the shoulder of Mount Mansfield, the Cliff House has undergone a dramatic renovation. The rustic new interior pays homage to the Austrian roots of our chalet. And we’ve nearly doubled our spectacular panoramic-view seating with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the surrounding alpine peaks.

From our new exhibition open kitchen, our chef Jeff Egan serves up award-winning regional American cuisine with a rustic Vermont flair. Our commitment to using the freshest seasonal and artisan ingredients can be tasted in every mouth-watering dish and sinful dessert; and our hand-selected wine list and tantalizing cocktails will complement any meal.

On select Saturday evenings, the Cliff House also offers famous “Summit Series” dinners featuring a gondola ride with hot cider and a candlelit six-course meal. Reservations are required. To make a dinner reservation, or for more information, call 800-253-4754.

The Cliff House is also available for business and social events. Contact our Hospitality Department at 802-253-3558 for more information.

Open daily for lunch from 11am to 2:30pm when the gondola is in operation.
Reservations are not taken for lunch.

SOLSTICE RESTAURANT

Imagine a place where the food is both refined and casual; where it becomes not just a meal, but an experience. Where the ingredients come from the surrounding area, exceptionally fresh, natural, and in many cases, organic. Where each course is crafted for your benefit, and you walk away not just full, but utterly satiated. There is such a place - Solstice - the intriguing artisan-inspired restaurant of Stowe Mountain Lodge.

Vermont is New England's most venerated location for farm fresh produce, heirloom grains and local craftsmanship. While still a few months away from opening, Stowe Mountain Lodge has already partnered with local Vermont farmers, cheesemakers, and other talented artisans, as well as small farm advocacy groups like the Vermont Fresh Network and Chefs Collaborative, to create a dining experience that is unique to the area, both on the plate and throughout the restaurant environment.

HOURGLASS

Named for one of Stowe's most venerated backcountry ski trails, Hourglass bar serves regional microbrews, designer cocktails and rare wines by the glass, as well as creative tapas made from local, natural and sustainable  ingredients.

Our extraordinary wine cellar offers hard to find bottles from small-production vineyards throughout the world, with a focus on organic and biodynamic wines.

Afternoon Alpine Tea is available for a refreshing midday break with an assortment of homemade sweets and savory treats, and our menu of Vermont-made teas. An outdoor terrace overlooking Spruce Peak mountain and the golf course at Stowe Mountain Club is Stowe's most highly-coveted location for a true apres ski and apres golf experience.
