Mountain Nordic Snowshoe Tours
Snowshoe Tours are a great way to enjoy winter in the woods. Nature abounds on our intimate trails. In soft snow or hard, snowshoeing is a unique way to get out and get some great exercise while experiencing the serenity of our wilderness playground. We have 8 miles of designated snowshoe trails and another 10 miles of ski trails for your family and friends to enjoy.
Snowshoe Trail and Lunch Tours to Fireside Tavern
Come and join us for snow fun in the snow! The backwoods, and trails await for those with a bit of an adventurous spirit. Your tour begins from the Cross Country Center on easy to moderate terrain. Your trek allows you to explore the pristine wooded trails of the Mt. Mansfield State Forest and enjoy some of the scenery that makes Stowe famous. After being on your shoes for the day you can relax at the Fireside Tavern for a tasty lunch or some appetizing choices from our Apres Ski Menu prepared by our talented chef's. You will return to the center with memories to be cherished.

Ranch Valley Moonlight Snowshoe Tour
Let our guides lead you from the Cross Country Touring Center on trails that meander through wooded terrain which also traverses the mountain streams of the Ranch Valley, the birthplace of downhill skiing in Stowe. Headlamps are provided to be sure you take in all of the beauty our tour has to offer. All of our tours can be tailor-made to meet your spirit for adventure as we head to the warming hut in the woods where we can enjoy a cup of hot cider before returning to the touring center to reminisce about our snowshoe experience with some light Apres Ski.
