International Ski Instructors
WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING INTERNATIONAL APPLICATIONS FOR WINTER 2008-09.
Each year Stowe Mountain Resort sponsors non-U.S. citizens for a work visa (H-2B) to allow them to work for our ski and snowboard school in fulltime winter seasonal positions. THIS IS IMPORTANT: The current status of the H-2B Visa program is somewhat uncertain as our Congress debates its future. While we continue with the assumption that we will be able to welcome a small number of international applicants, you must understand that there are no guarantees. Unless you have the freedom to make other plans if this arrangement does not work out, please do not apply. Thanks for your understanding.
¡HOLA AMIGOS!
Specifically we are looking for:
Experienced certified ski instructors (sorry, not snowboard).
Applicants who can commit for the entire season (late November thru early April).
Applicants from the following countries: Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, or Chile (must have a conversational command of the English language).
G’DAY MATE!
Information about H-2B Visas:
- H-2B Visas are job specific (if you are hired into one of these positions you cannot change positions during the season).
- H-2B Visas are company specific (you can only work for Stowe Mountain Resort).
- H-2B Visas are time specific (valid for one winter season only, approximately November through April).
- H-2B Visas are subject to approval by the Vermont Department of Labor, the United States Department of Labor, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and the United States Consulates.
Stowe Mountain Resort will accept applications for the Winter H-2B Visa program from now until mid-August 2008.
BONJOUR!
